Snorkel Tours

There are also good opportunities to experience the National Park's marine life, as the National Park consists, among other things, of five marine areas and a 60 km of coastline.

With a snorkeling tour, you can get up close to the flora and fauna of the coasts. Throughout the summer, there are snorkeling tours in several different places in the National Park, for example at Fuglsø beach, where you can try your hand at Denmark's first underwater trail. On another tour you can swim out along the wind tubine pier in Ebeltoft and see how the stone pier functions as an artificial reef and is home to many species of algae, fish and crustaceans.

It is also a very special experience to swim out and snorkel in the evening twilight. Much of the life in the shallow water is nocturnal, so on an evening dive you swim out when the fish and other animals have just "woken up".

Sightseeing

With the National Park Bus, passengers take an educational tour of the Mols Bjerge. Here you will join a bus tour that will take you to both the top destinations and the lesser-known places in the National Park. The bus makes several stops out in the countryside so you can see the sights for yourself. The guide on the bus is a biologist and nature interpreter with extensive knowledge of nature, culture and the formation of the landscape.

Boat trips

The National Park can also be experienced by sea with the veteran ship "Skødshoved". The packet boat once transported goods, posts and people between Aarhus and Ebeltoft. During the summer holidays, the boat either sails from Ebeltoft Old Habor and out on the bay, on a seal safari from Nappedam Marina or on long-distance trips along the coasts of the National Park. On board the ship, a guide from National Park will tell you about what you experience along the way.

On the boattrips you get the opportunity to experience a piece of Danish history and the special atmosphere at sea with cosiness, seawater, tar and old woodwork.
